All ordinances or parts of any ordinance or regulation inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. The adoption of this Ordinance, however, shall not abate or prevent the continuance of any proceedings instituted under the Ordinance of which this Ordinance is a revision, nor abate or pi event any proceedings or prosecution for offense heretofore committed in violation of the ordinance known as the "Zoning Ordinance of the Township of Berkeley Heights" and other ordinances of which this Ordinance is a revision. Nothing herein shall be deemed to change the status of nonconforming uses heretofore created by virtue of the prior Zoning Ordinance or amendments thereof, it being the intent that this revision shall not supersede said Ordinance or amendments thereof, but that said Ordinance and amendments and this revision shall constitute a continuing body of law. The intent expressed hereby shall apply not only to this Article, but to the entire Ordinance as well.
