DIVISION 17. RESTAURANTS

Sec. 62-2071. General standards.

In a light industrial district, the planning board may permit, as a conditional use, the development of a restaurant on a lot 5,000 feet or more from an existing restaurant. The site shall be at least the minimum lot size required in the zoning district in which it is to be located. The lot shall have a lot width of the minimum required in the zone in which it is to be located, which lot width shall be located on an improved and accepted public street of at least 100 feet in width of right-of-way. The site shall be served by public sewer and water supply. All other bulk regulations of the zone in which the site is located shall apply. Where permitted on federal or state highways, the 5,000 feet may be applied separately to each side of the highway. (Code 1988, § 175-157)
