ARTICLE IV - Regulations for the R-2 Single-Family Suburban Residence District
§228-16. Applicability of provisions of Article.

The following regulations shall apply to all R-2 Districts

§228-17. Permitted uses.

Principal uses and buildings permitted shall be:

A.Any use permitted in the R-1 District under §228-8, except 0(2)

§228-18. Permitted accessory uses. Accessory uses and buildings permitted shall be A Any accessory uses permitted in the R-1 District, §228-9

§228-19. Prohibited uses.

Prohibited uses and buildings shall be

A.Any uses and buildings not listed in §§228-17 and 228-18 above

B.Professional occupations

C.Parking of trucks or other commercial vehicles and trailers as restricted in §228-224C

D.Mechanical amusement devices and mechanical amusement facilities

E.Sex clubs and massage parlors

F.Newspaper Vending Machines

G.Limousine or livery service

§228-20. Height limitations.

Height limits shall be the same as required in the R-1 District

§228-21. Density, Area and yard requirements.

A.Density, one (1) dwelling unit per twenty thousand (20,000) square feet

B.Minimum Lot Width One hundred twenty (120) feet for residential lots and lots for §228-8H and 1, one hundred fifty (150) feet for lots for Sections §228-8B, C, D, E, F, G, J, K, L, M, N, O and P(1)

C.Minimum Lot Area twenty thousand (20,000) square feet for residential lots and lots for §228-8H and I, one (1) acre for lots for Sections §228-8B, C, D, E, F, G, J, K, L, M, N, O and P(1)

D.Minimum Front Yard Setback No principal or accessory building shall be closer than forty (40) feet to a street line, including both streets on a corner lot

E.Minimum Side Yard Setback one side twenty (20) feet, two sides forty (40) feet

F.Minimum Rear Yard Setback forty (40) feet

G.Minimum Accessory Building Side or Rear Setback fifteen (15) feet

§228-23. Off-street parking.

Off -street parking requirements shall be the same as required in the R-1 District

§228-24. Site plan approval.
