CHAPTER 5 MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS
37:5-1.DEFINITIONS.

Whenever a term is used in this title which is defined in N.J.S. 40:55D-1 et seq., such term is intended to have the meaning set forth in the definition of such term found in the statute, unless a contrary intention is clearly expressed from the context of this Title. (R.O. 1966 C.S. § 16A:5-1)

37:5-2.ORDINANCES CONTINUED.

The substantive provisions of the existing Land Subdivision Ordinance [Title 38] and Zoning Ordinance [Title 40] of the City of Newark and the development regulations set forth therein shall continue in full force and effect and shall be read in pari materia with this Title. 37:5-3.SHORT TITLE.



This title shall be known and may be cited as The Land Use Procedures Ordinance of the City of Newark." (R.O. 1966 C.S. § 16A:5-5)

37:5-4. COPY TO BE FILED WITH COUNTY PLANNING BOARD.

Immediately upon adoption of this title the Municipal Clerk shall file a copy of this title with the County Planning Board as required by law. The Clerk shall also file with the County Planning Board copies of all other ordinances of the municipality relating to land use, such as the subdivision, zoning and site plan review ordinances.
