§105-54. Designation of zones

For the purpose of this chapter, the Township of Liberty is hereby divided into 10 zones:

R-1 Residential - two-acre

R-3 Residential - three-acre

R-4 Residential - 15,000 square feet



MFD Multifamily Dwelling

AG Special Agricultural

B-1 Business

B-2 Office and Service

B-3 Business, Nonretail

I-1 Light Industrial

I-2 Heavy Industrial

§105-55. Zoning Map.

The map entitled "Zoning Map, Liberty Township, Warren County," dated June 1, 2000, and the map entitled "Zoning Map, Mountain Lake, Liberty Township, Warren County," dated April 1, 1991, revised September 27, 1999, delineating the zones described in § 105-54, are hereby declared to be part of this chapter.

§105-56. Interpretation of boundaries.

The zone boundary lines shown on the Zoning Map are intended to coincide with property lines, the center lines of streets or drainage courses as they existed at the time of the adoption of this chapter or they are designated on the Zoning Map by figures or dimensions. In case of uncertainty as to the location of any zone boundary line, the determination thereof shall be with the Board of Adjustment.

§105-56.1. Existing lots.

Any lot in existence at the time of adoption of this section which conformed to the requirements of this chapter may be used for construction of a permitted use without necessity for a variance related to area or other lot dimension requirements.

§105-57. Uses not permitted.

Where a use is not specifically permitted in any zone, it is not permitted.
