The purpose of this part is to promote the public health, safety and general welfare by providing the public with appropriate information in a form and manner which will be beneficial to the community Specifically, this part is enacted to

1 Regulate the nature and extent of signs within all zoning districts of the Township

2 Provide for a reasonable system of control of signs. integrated within and as a part of the comprehensive zoning plan established in the Municipal Land Use Procedures Ordinance,

3 Protect and enhance the economic value of the community in each area thereof through the regulation of such things as size, location, design and illumination of signs,

4 Eliminate possible traffic and pedestrian safety hazards, 5 Protect the appearance and visual peace of the community
