All improvements required by the Planning Board, except electric and gas, shall be installed under the supervision and inspection of the Township Engineer Prior to the commencement of construction, the applicant and/or contractor shall arrange with the Township Engineer for a preconstruction meeting for the purpose of reviewing the construction details and scheduling as well as establishing a liaison with the Township Engineer's office No construction work covering the required improvements shall be commenced without the developer first notifying the Township Engineer that said construction work is about to take place Such notice shall be given in writing to the Township Engineer at least one (1) week before commencement of such work The inspection by the Township Engineer shall be made within forty-eight (48) hours after receipt of the notification of the completion of work, weekends and holidays excluded No required improvements shall be covered until inspected and approved by the Township Engineer (Ord #2-77, 19-4 12, Ord #9-81, 14)
