§228-266. Additions to the R-1 Single-Family Rural Residence District.

A.[Added 12-23-68 by Ord No 68-8-U] The R-1 Single-Family Rural Residence District as shown and described on the Zoning Map of the Township of East Brunswick is hereby enlarged to include the following described land in the Township of East Brunswick which is hereby rezoned R-1, not withstanding the fact that the enlarged boundaries are not shown on the Zoning Map

(1) C-2 to R-1 Beginning at a point in the center line of Riva Avenue at its intersection with the center line of Lawrence Brook, the common municipal boundary line between the Borough of Milltown and the Township of East Brunswick, and, thence

(a) Along said center line of Riva Avenue in a general southwesterly direction approximately 400 feet to a point, thence

(b) At right angles to Riva Avenue and in a general northwesterly direction approximately 400 feet to a point, thence

(c) Parallel to the first course approximately 1,090 feet to the center line of Lawrence Brook the common municipal boundary line between the Borough of Milltown and the Township of East Brunswick, thence

(d) Along the aforementioned municipal boundary line a general southeasterly direction approximately 400 feet to the center line of Riva Avenue, the point or place of beginning

Being and intended to be that C-2 Zone presently located north of Riva Avenue and adjacent to the East Brunswick - Milltown boundary

B.[Added 3-27-78 by Ord No 78-2] The P-1 Zone as shown and described on the Zoning Map of the Township of East Brunswick is hereby changed to delete the following described land which is hereby rezoned to R-1 Beginning at the center line intersection of Cranbury Road and Fern Road and from thence running

(1) In a southerly direction along the center line of Fern Road, the various courses thereof, a distance of 3,150 feet, plus or minus, to the center line intersection of Old Stage Road, thence

(2) In a westerly direction along the center line of Old Stage Road, the various courses thereof, a distance of 4,850 feet, plus or minus. to the center line intersection of Helmetta Boulevard, thence

(3) In a northerly direction along the center line of Helmetta Boulevard, the various courses thereof, a distance of 1,050 feet, plus or minus, to the center line intersection of Cranbury Road and Dunhams Corner Road at the municipal boundary, thence

(2) Along the center line of Beekmans Corner Road in a northerly direction the various courses thereof a distance of 2,270 feet, plus or minus, to the center fine intersection of Church Lane, thence
