Chapter 145 - FEES
§ 145-1. Policy.

It is hereby determined in the interest of and for the benefit of the residents and taxpayers of the Village of Ridgewood and for the public good that a uniform schedule of fees for public records and services of the Village of Ridgewood and its employees be established and maintained.

§ 145-2. Public records.

Nothing in this chapter shall require the certification, reproduction or issuance of any copy of any record unless said record is a public record.

§ 145-3. Collection and disposition.

All fees paid pursuant to this chapter shall be considered funds of the Village of Ridgewood and shall be collected as follows: The person rendering the service shall maintain a consecutively numbered receipt book, in triplicate. When the fees are collected, the payor shall be given the original receipt therefor. A copy of the receipt, together with the fee therefor, shall thereupon be delivered to-the Treasurer of the village and the remaining copy of the receipt retained by the person rendering the service as a permanent record.

The following fees are for various department services and charges as indicated below:
